More About Kevin J. Byrne
Mr. Byrne is Vice President of Boynton Healthcare a division of Boynton & Boynton. Kevin began his insurance career as an independent insurance agent and a direct marketing representative for a NJ based professional liability carrier from 1994 to 1998. In 1998 Kevin formed his own insurance Agency, Acorn Professional Services. In 2001 he merged with and became Vice President for Professional Medical Insurance Services a national brokerage specializing in Healthcare Professional Liability. Kevin joined Boynton & Boynton in 2011 along with his Pennsylvania office and staff. For the past 13 years, he has worked with hundreds of physicians, multiple institutions, organizations, and miscellaneous facilities. Kevin has served on broker/agent advisory boards for MD Advantage Insurance Company, Coverys Insurance Company (formally ProMutal) and Medical Protective Insurance Company (a Berkshire Hathaway group of Companies). This experience working as both an agent representing the medical field and as marketing rep for a medical malpractice insurer has given him the knowledge of providing the best solutions for his clients.
In 2014 Mr. Byrne helped develop and launch Boynton Healthcare as a division of Boynton & Boynton. Boynton Healthcare focuses specifically on the insurance, education and risk needs of the Healthcare provider, hospitals, and physician organizations in the ever changing healthcare reform and environment.
Kevin is a 1989 graduate of LaSalle University in Philadelphia where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. Since graduating, he has worked in the field of advertising sales, and insurance. He holds active P&C licenses in multiple states.
Kevin resides in Narberth, PA with his wife and 3 daughters.
